Job Description

ESC has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to join our premier client’s Owned and Operated (O&O) Cross-Channel Strategy team supporting their Music team on a global scale. This team’s mission is to centralize and scale marketing efforts across six key O&O channels: IAM, Outbound, Landing Pages, Browse Home Marketing, Onsite Merchandising, and App Store. By addressing O&O pain points and opportunities comprehensively, they aim to drive substantial impact. The role is hybrid in San Francisco, CA and starts as a 6-month contract opportunity.


As a Product Marketing Manager, you will lead initiatives that span the team’s four main pillars: Automation, Personalization, Operational Efficiency, and Experimentation. You will focus on enhancing automation by exploring AI tools, API integrations, and solutions that reduce manual efforts. Your ability to solve problems and challenge the status quo will be crucial in this role. You will need strong interpersonal skills to build trust with internal teams who will rely on you to solve key challenges. Your mission is to help the Music team scale globally and you will work cross-functionally across growth, product, promotions, and BI to drive the growth of the Music platform. Overall, you will be entrepreneurial, push boundaries and execute breakthrough campaigns.


Job Responsibilities

  • Identifying challenges, exploring both internal and external solutions, making recommendations, and implementing new processes and tools.
  • Work across channels to drive growth – e.g., in-app messaging, launching copy tests, email campaigns, etc.
  • Work across technical partners – cross functional collaboration with technical and business stakeholders
  • Address challenges from managers
  • Work with partner teams across tech side, marketing ops, prioritize projects,
  • Facilitate and write out requirements with Product Marketing team
  • Utilize PM tools similar to Jira, Asana, Monday, etc.
  • Leverage marketing tech tools/software similar to Salesforce, Iterable, etc.
  • Microsoft Outlook, Slack, Chime


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, will consider an advanced degree with strong industry experience
  • 5+ year’s digital marketing/tech background
  • Channel experience with in-app messaging, push, email, paid, etc.
  • Comfortable working with tech and product teams – able to speak their language, i.e. growth marketing or product
  • Experience with at least 1 Program Management tool
  • Entertainment marketing experience a plus
