The Warehouse Manager is responsible for all internal and external frozen warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping products in a manner consistent with service objectives. The Warehouse Manager will foster a team environment that focuses on serving the customer, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, customer service, productivity, and engagement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee daily operations including:

• Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization and shipping methods while promoting a safe, quality and productivity focused environment.
• Oversee all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, and managing returned/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met
• Manage network frozen inventory needs through storage space and by managing relationships with 3PL frozen warehouses within the network
• Identify and negotiate new frozen storage 3PL providers as needed.
• Maintain rigorous Standard Operating Procedures for proper receipt, storage, handling, and shipment of inventory
• Design and implement staffing strategies to ensure work force is efficient and flexible and can respond to variations in workflow while meeting daily, weekly, monthly needs
• Ensure the company’s physical assets (building, material handling equipment, inventory, etc.) are properly maintained, protected, and utilized
• Ensure all records and reports regarding warehouse activity are prepared on a timely basis and effectively maintained

JOB EXPERIENCE :

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate/bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years supervisory and warehouse management experience
• Experience within ERP, TMS (Transportation Management System) and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) systems
• Experience with 3PL management
