Production Supervisor - Forming Department

Location: Sumner

Hours: Day or swing shift

Pay: 68-72k

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the production process by running parts, verifying programs, operating controls, and inspecting parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Create and maintain setup documentation for production processes.
• Stay up-to-date on equipment and process knowledge.
• Optimize and enhance production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Manage inventory and obtain quotes for materials or supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Document and communicate work activities, irregularities, and requirements to maintain workflow continuity between shifts.
• Collaborate with department leads to maintain adherence to production schedules.
• Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned.
• Comply with state and federal laws, the Company Quality Program, company policies, and safety and environmental regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversee and mentor team members under the guidance of the Manufacturing Manager.
• Provide coaching, share best practices, and communicate important updates between the manager and team.
• Take on managerial duties in the absence of the department head, as required.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
• At least 4 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient with various types of equipment and inspection tools.
• Ability to remain alert and work safely at all times.
