TITLE: Senior Production Planner

LOCATION: Carson City, NV

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Direct Hire

PAY: $75,000-$83,000

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a Senior Production Planner for a thriving aerospace manufacturing company in Carson City, NV! This role is responsible for managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of customer orders while optimizing production efficiency. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with manufacturing and production planning experience to further their career!

• Coordinating work order releases based on material requirements
• Collaborating with production and other departments to establish weekly production targets
• Interfaces with manufacturing and purchasing teams to address material status and production planning issues
• Utilize capacity and demand data to set recovery dates for late orders and lead times.
• Identifying potential capacity bottlenecks and implementing solutions.
• Leading special projects, recommending planning tool improvements, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field preferred
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing environment
• MRP/ERP system proficiency
• 10+ years experience in planning preferred
• APICs certification helpful
• Advanced planning knowledge such as SQL, APICS certifications, PowerBI, or advanced Excel
• Understand purchasing, MRP continuous improvement methodology, inventory control and lot control
• Self-starter, detail oriented, strong written and oral communication skills
