Actively seeking a Billing Assistant for a HYBRID and Full-Time Position within a Law Firm. The right candidate will have Internship or Post-Graduation Professional Experience in a Billing or Accounting based role.

HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

SCHEDULE | LOCATION: HYBRID | New York, NY

PAY: $55 - $65K (Commensurate w/Experience) + Discretionary Bonus

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• H.S. Diploma REQUIRED; Bachelor’s Degree PREFERRED
• 0-1+ Years of Billing or Accounting Experience
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite\

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review timekeeper diaries and costs for compliance with client/vendor terms
• Process edits to billable hours based on attorney updates.
• Responsible for regular monitoring of bill processing status and other necessary follow up to ensure successful processing and timely payment to the firm.
• Participate in the review and monitoring of client billing arrangements
• Respond timely to analysis and information requests
• Special projects, as assigned.
