Russell Tobin is seeking a Lab Technician (3rd Shift) for a British multinational alcoholic beverage company in Plainfield, IL.

Job Title: Lab Technician (3rd Shift)

Location: Plainfield, IL (on-site)

Job Type: Contract

Length: 5 – 6 months (with potential to go permanent)

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.59 per hour

Hours: 3rd Shift with rotating days (see below)

Training Schedule the first week: 7am-3pm.

Night Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Rotating weekly schedule:

• Week 1 (Long week): Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
• Week 2 (Short week): Wednesday, Thursday.
• Week 3 (Long week): Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
• Week 4 (Short week): Wednesday, Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Approving in-process and finished liquid products.
• Performing microbiological testing of water, distilled products, and ingredients.
• Inspecting raw materials to ensure they meet product specifications.
• Conducting sensory analysis of in-process products, finished products, and ingredients.
• Performing analytical testing on products and ingredients to ensure adherence to specifications.

Must haves:

• Experience in microbiological and analytical testing.
• Ability to perform sensory analysis and raw material inspections.

Preferred:

• Previous production experience.
• Experience working in a local lab.
