Our client is a leading manufacturer and marketer of branded and private label Charcoal, Lighter Fluid, Charcoal Accessories, Fire logs, Fire starters, Matches and Toothpicks.
They are looking for a Brand Manager to join our marketing team in Roswell, GA to lead thier Private Label business. The Brand Manager leads private label strategy and manages the P&L to drive profitable growth of our portfolio across retail channels. Responsible for developing consumer, brand, category, product launch and communication strategies within the organization and delivering results against those initiatives. The Brand Manager executes their business unit strategy on a day-to-day basis. As a key leader of the business, you are integrated into the daily operations of the business unit to make decisions and drive action to deliver on the needs of the consumer. In this role, you are responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes to develop and implement strategic projects.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing and preferably MBA with a concentration in Marketing.
- 3-5 years’ experience with a combination of Brand Management/Trade Marketing/Sales experience.
- Extensive project management experience and proven ability to multitask.
- Understand the ins and outs of a P&L to evaluate and manipulate it to align strategies within the marketing mix to deliver profitable results.
- Possess passion and curiosity to continuously seek out opportunities and ideas to strengthen your brand(s) and grow your business.
- Have a bias for action to quickly adapt and execute on the needs of the business while being comfortable challenging the status quo.
- Leverage first party and third-party consumer research to understand and articulate the voice of the consumer within the organization to deliver on strategies to satisfy their needs.
- Be the expert on your portfolio of products and projects with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional partners within sales, supply chain, research and development, communications, finance and market research.
- Analyze and manipulate data within Circana, Excel and Tableau to uncover insights and provide opinions on marketplace dynamics, competitive analysis, promotion and pricing evaluation.
