Our client, a prominent financial services firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Client Service Representative to join their team. This role involves responding to incoming inquiries, processing financial and non-financial transactions, resolving account issues, and ensuring exceptional client service. The position is onsite five days a week in Boston, MA. The schedule rotates weekly, with shifts ranging from as early as 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM to as late as 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Schedules are provided two weeks in advance, and candidates must confirm their ability to adhere to a weekly maximum of 35 hours.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming phone calls from existing and potential clients regarding company products.
- Process routine and complex financial and non-financial transactions, meeting or exceeding department standards for productivity and quality.
- Resolve basic account problems and questions; initiate research on more complex problems and direct them to appropriate work areas for resolution.
- Communicate via telephone, fax, and email with shareholders, participants, broker/dealers, and others to verify information, clarify requests, or provide appropriate documentation to customers as needed.
- Maintain proper documentation of telephone calls and other interactions.
- Interact with other departments within the Service Center to resolve problems and answer questions.
- Perform additional duties as requested by management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred.
