Sensor Calibration Engineer

As an engineer, you will design, integrate, and calibrate various sensor systems that ensure accurate perception, navigation, and environmental mapping in off-road and unstructured terrains. Collaborating closely with the perception and controls teams, you will focus on optimizing sensor performance and ensuring data integrity in challenging, dynamic environments. Your work will play a crucial role in advancing product development and roadmap.

What we're looking for:

• Strong expertise in integrating sensors such as LIDAR, cameras, GPS, IMUs, and wheel encoders
• Experience developing sensor calibration processes in a production environment
• knowledge of sensor fusion / real-time data processing in hardware and software robotics.
• Skills in C++ and/or Python
• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, robotics, or equivalent experience
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for security clearance

Bonus Points:

• Developed sensor systems for autonomous off-road navigation
• Experience integrating additional sensor types
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing and real-world validation
