About the Role

We are looking for an Engineer with design and engineering experience to take ownership of the customer-facing software for our ground swarm robots. This wide-ranging role will design and implement our Java-based front-end application as a plugin within the TAKX framework and act as the primary desktop application developer for our ground robot swarms' command-and-control within the desktop platform environment. This role will also have input on design-related collateral.

Required Qualifications

• Experience developing response Java-based front ends, preferably for DoD or autonomous system applications.
• 2+ years experience in design, wireframe, implementation, and testing of front-end implementations
• Comfort working in the high-paced, fluid environment of a tech startup
• Excitement about contributing to the defense of the United States and its allies
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance
• Ability to relocate to Phoenix, AZ

Preferred qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the TAK ecosystem (TAKX, ATAK, and/or WinTAK plugin development)
• Experience developing command & control GUIs for robots
• Experience complying with DoD software requirements
• Experience with safety critical systems and processes
• A BS in CS or related field
