We are seeking an Manufacturing Engineer for our Huntington, IN Plant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating, documenting, developing, and implementing procedures used to process, assemble, test and/or manufacture of Teijin's products.
- Define production process parameters to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Create documentation for production support and data collection.
- Part of team that approves new product designs for production.
- Assesses and approves new product tooling for production.
- Reviews and authorizes new product processes for production.
- Initiates and maintains "open items" tracking system for new products.
- Attends all tooling tryouts at the tooling vendors.
- Coordinates all tooling tryouts at the manufacturing facility.
- Participates in obtaining PSW approvals on new products.
- Continuously improve processes utilizing synchronous and lean manufacturing techniques to improve labor efficiencies and quality.
- Must have proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, AutoCAD)
- Must have very strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Must have very strong communication skills (verbal & written)

Requirements:
- A Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive).
