Summary:

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily operations to maintain high standards of production, quality, and safety. Responsibilities include managing the production process, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and coordinating staffing and line maintenance. The role involves supervising daily production activities, promoting safety, addressing machinery and workstation readiness, and ensuring USDA compliance. Additional duties include overseeing inventory rotation, shipment accuracy, and product coding while fostering a positive team environment. This position is key to driving operational efficiency and maintaining a safe, productive workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Manage production activities to meet quality and yield goals.
• Supervise team members, including staffing, training, and performance.
• Ensure machinery and workstations meet safety and operational standards.
• Promote and maintain safety protocols daily and through monthly meetings.
• Communicate company policies, benefits, and expectations effectively.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, shipment processes, and product coding.
• Support human relations functions such as retention, counseling, and team building.

Experience:

• At least 1 year in a meat manufacturing environment.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma required; vocational or college education is a plus.

Skills:

• Basic computer skills are helpful.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manage and guide team members in similar or related tasks.
