Profile:

ASEI Engineering is currently seeking an Electrical Designer to join our talented team in Houston, TX. This position will manage their own projects and perform electrical design services for a wide variety of projects including but not limited to commercial, educational, multi-family, and light industrial projects.


Duties:

· Create Electrical designs in AutoCAD and/or Revit software

· Work directly with clients to determine overall project needs and design, while utilizing in-house Professional Engineer for support and quality control

· Effectively manage electrical design projects through clear, consistent communication to meet client needs, project schedules, and budget expectations

· Build long term customer relationships with existing and potential clients through world-class customer service

· Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and flexibility by supporting your peers as needed and participating in company sponsored training and events


Requirements:

· Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD and Revit (preferred).

· Excellent working knowledge of electrical design in the realm of commercial, educational, multi-family, and light industrial projects

· Experience with Visual lighting software or related software

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently

· Self-motivated, reliable individual that thrives on doing a job well

· Demonstrate independence, initiative, and desire to achieve results

· Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining long-term client relationships

· Ability to communicate effectively with people through oral and written communications

· Passion to provide our clients a world-class experience on every interaction for every project, every time


Education & Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· 2+ years’ experience in electrical design/drafting required

· Fully proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit (preferred)

· Experience with Visual lighting software or related software

· Experience with MS Office products

· AA in Computer Aided Drafting, or BS in Engineering preferred


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: Hourly/Salary according to experience
