Immediate job opportunity for a certified High School / General Curriculum Teacher job job starting in the Fall 2024!
What an exceptional teaching position this truly is! If you are wanting something total different than the normal special education classroom, this contract is for YOU! We need an Educator who can teach students 14-years of age up-to 21-years of age for the 2024 summer school schedule and then, return in the Fall!
Educational And Certification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, and/or similar.
• Certified to teach special education (general curriculum to Multi-categorical)
• Professional teaching licensure through South Carolina Board of Education (SCBOE)
• Special Education: Multi-categorical, cross-categorical, or similiar
  

Job Details

• 2024-2025
• 40-hours (M-F)
• Schedule: August 2024 to June 2025 (Follow the school calendar)
• Age group is high school students.
• No behaviors, no school bells, no rooms.
• Open floor plan for learning.
• Work with students who are at risk of graduating.
• One floor plan and learning environment.
• Friday is a planning day. No students.
• Small groups (Approximately 5 or less).
• Provide services to students as well as compensatory learning time.
• No testing required.
• Must hold a special education endorsement
• Must have recent teaching experience.
• Communicate with parents, families and school staff and Administrators.
