Snowflake Database Administrator (SnowPro Certified)

Work Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid, 2-days remote)

Duration: 6-month Contract-to-Hire

Pay Range: $70 to $110/hr W2

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Database Administrator to provide operational support for our Snowflake environment. This hybrid position requires a candidate with in-depth Snowflake knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and strong collaboration skills to deliver high-quality solutions within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and operational support for the Snowflake environment, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Collaborate with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Complete user requests and ServiceNow tasks promptly while maintaining high service standards.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, providing off-hour support as necessary.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within established budgets and customer priorities.
• Perform other duties as required to meet business needs.

Technical Knowledge & Skills:

• SnowPro Core or Advanced Certification is required.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake database administration, including managing user access, configurations, and platform-level changes in AWS cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, features, and automation is essential.
• Familiarity with Snowflake’s security features and role-based access control.
• Ability to integrate Snowflake with various data sources and BI tools.
• Solid relational database and SQL skills.
