Job Description
Aerospace client is seeking a highly skilled A&P Mechanic to perform repairs, maintenance, and replacements of key aircraft components, ensuring compliance with national and international standards. This position requires advanced expertise in diagnosing and maintaining aircraft airframes, power plants, and associated systems, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals while maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the workshop or hangar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance on aircraft airframes, engines, and components using technical manuals and schematics.
- Ensure all work adheres to FAA regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and replacement of faulty or defective parts using a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and adhere to safety-sensitive protocols.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and other teams to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no prior FAA violations.
- Ability to interpret and apply technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
- Own tools in good working order and reliable transportation to work locations.
- Pass and maintain a Class 3 Physical, including hearing and vision requirements.
- Flexibility to travel and work various shifts, including weekends and overtime.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in FAA repair stations, Quality Assurance, or familiarity with FAR/DFARS.
- Background in Aerospace or Defense industries, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. Military.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
