Job Summary
- Project Manager within the Marketing Department will support agency strategies by managing moderately complex marketing projects for business units, financial advisors and other internal clients efficiently
- With limited supervision, manages day-to-day project management activities, analysis and/or project administration tasks throughout the agency. Exercises moderate latitude and judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Supports client relations and project management of agency to develop moderately complex projects
• Coordinates the creation and production of marketing and communications materials in accordance with the established marketing strategy
• Provides input on process improvements efforts
• Gathers requirements for projects, understands traffic operations and collaborates with appropriate resources
• Partners with account management and creative teams to drive effective execution of projects, with the goal of achieving high client satisfaction
• Administers and monitors timelines and budgets at the project level
• Builds project plans and manages medium to large scope projects
• Manages day-to-day project management activities including monitoring daily workflow and overseeing projects
• Makes key contributes in creating and maintaining internal project management tools/resources
• Maintains documentation and communicates efficiently and effectively
• Stays abreast of project management news and trends and may train others
• Collaborates with agency teams and management in order deliver on medium to high impact projects and campaigns
• Understands business impact associated with initiatives
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge of
• Intermediate knowledge of marketing concepts, agency processes and project management methodology including project management, analysis, administration and documentation
• Creative production processes

• Organizational, planning and time management skills – as well as a “roll up the sleeves” mentality – sufficient to independently oversee multiple projects from start to completion

Education: Education/Previous Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field and a minimum of two (2) years of marketing experience, preferably in project management in an agency environment ~or~
• Any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training approved by Human Resources
