Position: Commercial Estimator (HVAC)

Location: Lawrenceville, GA

Job Type: Full Time

Summary

The commercial estimator is responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project details to accurately calculate the cost of installing or replacing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings, creating detailed cost estimates by factoring in labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotes, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring project bids are competitive and within budget parameters; often requiring proficiency in HVAC design software and a thorough understanding of commercial building codes and industry standards.

Required Education and Experience:

Strong, steady work history with a minimum of 5+ years in the Commercial HVAC industry

High school diploma or GED

At least 18 years old

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in a drug-free workplace

Possess a clean driving record and a current driver's license

Working proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad)

High level of proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office suite products, and similar programs

Preferred Education and Experience

Associate’s degree in a related field

PMP Certification or formal PM training

OSHA 10/30 Certification
