“NOTE: If selected for this position, you are required to perform ALL work within a commutable distance of your assigned Worksite Location. Three days a week onsite, Tues, Wed, Thurs, with Monday and Friday being remote”

Product Designer for Austin, TX for a 12-month Contract with possible extensions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design and research process
• Define project implementation stages and design workflows
• Create personas, user stories, user journeys and mockups
• Develop prototypes for usability testing
• Work with Project Managers to effectively and efficiently design and deliver mockups and design specs to the Engineering Team for multiple web-based and mobile applications.
• Ensure design continuity between our products.
• Understand the business need for each project, then determine the most optimal user experience for every relevant use case.
• Identify existing design inconsistencies and areas where the user experience could improve within our existing products.
• Aid in the organization, maintenance , and improvement

Required Skills:

• 8+ years’ experience in User centered and UX design methodologies
• Experience with UX design
• 4+ years’ experience with Sketch
• Experience with financial projects
• Substantial understanding of and experience with maintaining, creating, and utilizing design systems and libraries.

• Adobe XD - Must Have
• Miro - Extremely Desired
• Sketch
• Illustrator
• Photoshop
• Mac OS experience
• Experience communicating with stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (written and verbal)
• Diligent dedication and attention to detail
• A self-starter who can integrate team work and independent work effectively
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment, flexible & agile, comfortable jumping in as needed on various tasks of our in-house design system.
