Job Overview: As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationships with the company's key clients. Your role will focus on understanding client needs, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction to drive retention and business growth. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams to align client goals with company objectives and provide strategic support to maximize value. Your position will also include identifying new business opportunities, managing contracts, and monitoring key performance metrics.


Key Responsibilities:


Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.
  • Address client needs, deliver customized solutions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.


Business Development & Territory Management:

  • Develop and implement individual business plans to target new accounts and support the company’s growth strategy.
  • Manage sales and business development activities within an assigned territory to meet or exceed sales goals.


Sales Strategy & Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor key performance metrics and proactively adjust sales strategies to achieve optimal results.


Client Communication & Education:

  • Ensure clients are well-informed about the company's products, standard offerings, lead times, and credit approval procedures.
  • Make regular sales visits to clients to position the company as an industry leader in customer satisfaction.


Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution:

  • Travel to client locations as needed to investigate and resolve quality or service issues, maintaining strong business relationships.
  • Ensure timely corrective actions to address customer concerns and strengthen the overall partnership.


Sales & Marketing Engagement:

  • Participate in Sales & Marketing meetings, workshops, and industry conferences to stay informed on trends and best practices.
  • Assist in preparing information for quarterly business reviews for key accounts, ensuring all account data is accurate and up-to-date.
