We are seeking a Data Architect with expertise in SAP to lead the end-to-end data architecture efforts for a critical system rebuild project.
The role requires designing and implementing scalable, future-ready data integration solutions, reassessing data contracts, and collaborating with stakeholders to align architecture with business objectives. The candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the data architecture design phase starting January and ensuring smooth integration with SAP systems.

Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Data Architecture: Represent data architecture within the product team to align integration requirements with business functions. Lead the reassessment and redesign of data contracts to support the rebuild effort.
- SAP Integration: Develop and manage integration solutions, ensuring alignment with SAP’s Data Sphere as the forward integration model. Work with integration components and manage data flows. Implement Data Sphere integration with Ariba platform.
- Custom Integration Tools: Evaluate and manage existing custom integration solutions, including Boomi as the primary integration tool.
- Project Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document data integration requirements. Prepare for the design phase in January, ensuring all integration components and data architecture principles are established.
Requirements:
- 8+ years experience in data architecture and integration, preferably with SAP systems.
- Deep understanding of SAP integration components such as SLT and SAP Data Sphere.
- Proven expertise in custom integration platforms such as Boomi.
- Experience integrating SAP with tools like Ariba.
- Ability to reassess and optimize data contracts to align with modern integration needs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to align technical and business teams.
- Product-oriented mindset with experience representing data architecture in multi-functional teams.
- Experience in leading data integration projects for large-scale rebuilds.
- Familiarity with SAP’s evolving integration ecosystems and best practices.
