Official Job Title: Supplier Development Engineer

Salary: $125,000 - $130,000 per year, plus 5% bonus and 5% Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)

About our client:

Our client is a leading technology company that is revolutionizing the renewable energy market. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supplier Development Engineer to joint a team in Milford, Ohio. This role will be instrumental in driving the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with external vendors and track parts and inventory.
• Oversee the flow of parts through various processes, including printing, machining, and post-processing.
• Coordinate with current suppliers and onboard a new supplier.
• Ensure that parts move efficiently through all stages of production.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain quality control standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that products meet customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering
• Experience in supplier management and vendor relationships
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additive manufacturing
• Knowledge of the latest manufacturing technologies and trends
