Business Development Representative - Technology Industry


Fair warning, this job is tough! There are cold-calling days, there are long days, and there are emotionally challenging days. However, after it's all done, you will be responsible for building your own wealth and success. No one can take it away from you, no one can you say you didn't earn it.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be responsible for creating and executing on marketing plans to attract new customers. You will be guided by some of the best people in our industry to develop your sales skills.


The BDR role is a mix of outside and inside sales. The outside sales activities are going to industry events in Atlanta, meeting potential customers for coffee and lunches, hosting events, and volunteering for causes that align with your passions. The inside sales activities are researching market trends in the technology industry, building creative marketing plans, cold out reach to technology leaders, and social media marketing.

Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission + bonus incentives


Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Shadowing top sales reps from the Agile team that maintain multi million dollar revenue for the company.
  • Participating in marketing events, client meetings, and volunteer efforts.
  • Researching tech industry trends for emerging companies and innovations.
  • Building a prospect list for potential customers.
  • Executing on cold-calls and cold-messages to establish meetings with new customers.


Here's what our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven track record of meeting goals and expectations (awards, recognition, etc.)
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities (leadership roles are a plus!)
  • Previous work, internship or co-op experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Internally motivated and competitive coupled with a desire to be part of a team
  • Strong desire to build a career in recruiting, while delivering exceptional customer service to clients and candidates
