Motion Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity in Everett, WA.

As a Senior System Engineer, you will lead projects that drive advancements in aerospace interiors, including Aircraft Water & Waste Systems, Lavatories, Front Row Monuments, and more. You will collaborate across functional teams, developing compliance methods, qualification plans, and test procedures that exceed customer expectations.

What You'll Do

• Innovative Design: Interpret and translate requirements into cutting-edge system designs.
• Collaborative Development: Work with cross-functional teams to create compliance methods, qualification plans, and functional test procedures that drive success.
• Architectural Leadership: Lead the decomposition of customer specifications and develop verification criteria and plans to support advanced systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with 2+ years of experience; or 9+ years of relevant experience without a degree).
• Experience with requirements writing and requirements management tools such as DOORS, Jama, or Cameo.
• Familiarity with ARP-4754, DO-178, and DO-254 standards.
• Experience managing multiple projects and balancing priorities and schedules.
• Ability to present technical information effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
