  • Strategic Oversight: Direct the preparation of plans and specifications for infrastructure components such as paving, grading, drainage, water lines, and sanitary sewers.
  • Business Development: Cultivate and expand client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the firm’s growth in the Tampa Bay region.
  • Regulatory Coordination: Manage permitting processes and maintain compliance with local and state regulatory requirements.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring consistent communication and alignment with project goals.
  • Team Management: Provide leadership to project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Financial and Administrative Duties: Manage project reporting, budgeting, invoicing, and timeline adherence.
  • Technical Contributions: Perform oversight for junior engineers and actively get involved with the production of drainage design and ICPR modeling as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Florida.
  • 7-15 years of experience in land and site development, with a proven track record of project management success.
  • Strong business development skills, including experience building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Proficiency in hydrology and hydraulic modeling software.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in local design and permitting processes.
  • Experience with residential, commercial, mixed-use, and multi-family developments.
  • Familiarity with municipal or government agency projects is an advantage.
  • Why Consider This Role?

This position offers the chance to work with a nationally respected consultancy known for delivering innovative and impactful solutions. Benefits include:

    • Comprehensive compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package, including exceptional health care and a robust 401(k) match.
    • Flexibility: Options for remote work, flexible schedules, and generous time-off policies.
    • Career Advancement: Opportunities for leadership growth and professional development in a collaborative environment.
