About the Role:

I am actively seeking a Structural Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join medium size firm with lots of stability in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building design , specifically with prestressed and post-tension concrete structures , and a focus on multifamily buildings . This is an urgent hire, so we're looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural design efforts for multifamily and commercial building projects.
• Develop and review structural calculations, plans, and drawings.
• Perform detailed analysis of concrete, steel, and other building materials.
• Provide oversight of project design to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and provide technical expertise to project teams.
• Prepare and review reports, specifications, and proposals for clients.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (required).
• PE (Professional Engineer) License (required).
• 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design , prestressed/post-tension concrete , and multifamily projects .
• Strong proficiency with structural analysis and design software.
• Excellent understanding of local and national building codes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and deadlines are met.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and clients.
