Industrial engineering consulting firm located in Akron, OH looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their successful and growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Mechanical Engineer has a variety of responsibilities including:

• Engineering/specification of mechanical equipment, including material handling equipment, pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and other process equipment
• Pipe stress analysis/pipe support design, piping flexibility studies
• Lead Engineer for projects
• Interfaces with other engineering disciplines and clients
• Performs field work as needed

Qualifications - Education/Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree
• MUST HAVE experience with Caesar II engineering software
• A minimum eight (8) to twelve (12) experience - no more than 20 years
• Experience in some or all of the areas of engineering mentioned above
• PE (Professional Engineering) License preferred, but not required

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
• Authorizes a background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational background
• Submits to a drug test post offer
• Possesses a valid driver’s license
• Accepts that this position may require some domestic overnight travel

Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible schedule

Job type: Full time, direct hire

Location: Hybrid work option (Tues/Wed/Th on-site in Akron, OH with Mon & Fri remote option)

Pay: $90K-150K (Salary, but will earn for any hours worked over 40/week)
