Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Tualatin, OR

Employment Type: 2-Year Contract

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Shift: Wednesday - Saturday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM - ON-SITE

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote).
• Experience with material handling equipment; forklift certification preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory control and data entry systems.
• Ability to analyze information and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review customer orders and manage the examination, stocking, and distribution of materials in warehouses or manufacturing lines.
• Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
• Accurately label materials and record their locations to maintain inventory integrity.
• Perform pre-use inspections of material-handling equipment and request repairs as necessary.
• Complete material transactions in SAP and manage tasks in related applications like IQMS and Cell Fusion.
• Conduct and report cycle counts, oversee crating, and audit outbound materials.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, trucks, and cranes to move freight when needed.
• Arrange for specialized crating, rigging, and trucking work through proper channels.
• Prepare finished products for shipment, including pulling, packing, and loading them.

Safety Protocols:

• Complete all required safety training and adhere to safe work practices, including ergonomic techniques and lifting limits.
• Follow personal and product safety guidelines, including:
• Utilizing appropriate PPE.
• Following clean room and Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Using lifting tools and equipment such as hoists, cranes, and fixtures.
• Conduct regular inspections, document safety issues, and escalate hazards as needed.
• Respond quickly to unsafe practices and escalate unresolved safety concerns.
