General Manager (Kingston, Ontario)
Our client is seeking a General Manager with a proven finance background and exceptional business acumen and people management skills to head up their Not-for-Profit organization in Kingston, Ontario.
Essential Characteristics of the Ideal Candidate
- Highly collaborative leader, able to build and maintain trusting relationships quickly.
- Primary advisor and mentor to the Executive and Board of Directors; supporting decision-making, identifying and managing risks to the organization and generally providing strategic thinking rather than day-to-day operational decisions
- Able to lead and support a highly skilled team responsible to deliver quality systems, tools, and processes that allow the organization to deliver a vast array of services and programs
- Custodian and advocate for the Strategic Plan for the organization and ensures processes and measures in place to monitor annual goal and initiative achievements
- Financial Education – CPA preferred.
- Experience of Private and Public / Educational sectors preferred.
