Our client, a law firm, is seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Paralegal to assist them with their growing their workload of commercial real estate transactions. This position is hybrid and based 4 out of 5 days per week at the office in Midtown, Manhatta n. This role offers paid OT and discretionary bonus!

Job Details:

• Serve as a liaison with clients and any external counsel to facilitate closing transactions
• Assist attorneys in all aspects of coordinating finance transactions from pre-closing to closing
• Reviewing title commitments and underlying title exception documents
• Providing detailed reviews of surveys and title commitments
• Reviewing title exception documents
• Providing due diligence inclusive of ordering searches
• Ordering and review of zoning reports
• Salary Range: $75-100k, based on experience

Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant working on real estate transactions
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Exposure to reviewing title and surveys, exception documents, estoppels, and REA documents
• Knowledge of Net Docs or any other Document Management Software is a plus
