About the role

Job Title : Technical Writer

Must-Have Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Aviation, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of technical writing experience, ideally writing FAA-regulated manuals
• Proven expertise in creating operator-focused documentation and guides for complex machinery or equipment.
• Familiarity with industry standards for technical documentation and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MadCap Flare or HTML and CSS.
• Proficiency with Git and source control workflows.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience in aviation operations or familiarity with FAA regulations and standards.
• Web development experience building or maintaining internal content libraries, especially with native tools
• Experience integrating content libraries with AI Large Language Models
• Working knowledge of content management systems and documentation processes for large-scale enterprise projects.
• Prior experience collaborating with engineers and technical teams.

Location : Seattle, WA (Onsite)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $60,000 – $85,000 USD annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for a bonus based on the achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
