Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Project Manager who will collaborate with managers on the identification and assessment of insurable risks throughout the company. This opportunity is located in Riverwoods, IL!

Duties:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive global insurance programs to minimize the company's total cost of risk
• Manage and escalate risks and customer-impacting issues within day-to-day roles to management
• Negotiate with insurance brokers and carriers to obtain favorable terms, conditions, and pricing
• Collaborate with managers on the renewal process for Property, Casualty, and Professional Liability insurance programs, including the development of insurance specifications, completing underwriting applications, negotiating terms and conditions, evaluating proposals, and providing recommendations for selected programs
• Gather exposure data internally for insurance renewals and analyze information for accuracy
• Create and develop reporting and presentations for senior management
• Support Occupational Health and Safety on loss control programs
• Provide direction to business units on insurable and noninsurable exposures
• Review contract insurance wording to ensure compliance with the company’s minimum insurance requirements
• Manage open casualty claims (e.g., Workers' Compensation) with internal business partners and insurance carriers

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in project management, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
• Hands-on experience in contracts, insurance policies, and claims management, with a strong understanding of industry best practices
• OSHA certification or equivalent, showcasing knowledge and commitment to occupational health and safety standards
