HR Generalist
Pay Range : $38-45/hour
Contract Length : 6 months (no conversion)
Location : Onsite (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our client's team. This role will be based onsite and will focus on supporting a range of HR functions, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional service to employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the EDD Workshare Program, partnering weekly with shop and field teams.
- Process all EDD claims promptly and accurately.
- Complete all Verification of Employment (VOE) requests.
- Manage and oversee Anniversary Programs, Milestones, and Annual Years of Service recognition.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding processes for shop and field employees.
- Provide support for the Vehicle Program, assisting with bills classification and payments.
- Conduct annual MVR checks for all company drivers.
- Maintain and update Employee Maps, ensuring all data is current.
- Prepare Concur HR Expense Reports for VP approval and submission.
- Serve as a customer service partner to employees, addressing their requests, questions, and support needs.
- Collaborate with HR team members on special projects to support broader team objectives.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook calendaring.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service orientation and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
- Demonstrated follow-through, problem-solving skills, and a team-player mindset.
- Prior experience in HR roles involving employee programs, claims processing, and administrative support is highly desirable.
- Spanish speaking a plus
