Position Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse associates, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in receiving, VAS (Value added Service), and shipping. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision:
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support.
- Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure productivity and accuracy.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
- Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, VAS, packing, and shipping.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflow.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as Sales Operation and Returns, to ensure seamless operations.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges promptly.
- Inventory Control:
- Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure accurate stock counts and availability.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize loss and improve accuracy.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to implement changes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and enhance warehouse performance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Training and Development:
- Train new and existing warehouse associates on SOPs, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance team skills and performance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and growth.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years experience working with consumer electronics experience. (Home or office small devices)
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
