Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Specialist to help us build and expand our relationships with leasing companies and financial institutions in the copier and office equipment industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering partnerships, and facilitating the growth of our company’s equipment acquisition and sales network. This role requires a proactive self-starter with strong sales and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the leasing industry, and the ability to develop long-term relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities with leasing companies, financial institutions, and related partners in the copier and office equipment market.
  • Relationship Management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the leasing and financial sectors, ensuring long-term business cooperation.
  • Sales and Negotiation : Lead the negotiation and closing of deals related to equipment acquisition, leasing arrangements, and sales agreements.
  • Market Research : Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business strategies.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (logistics, finance, and operations) to ensure smooth execution of agreements and deals.
  • Reporting : Provide regular updates and reports on business development efforts, key performance metrics, and market conditions.


Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field in the leasing or financial industry.
  • Familiarity with copier equipment leasing or office equipment sales is highly preferred.
  • Experience in B2B sales or partnership development is essential.
  • Proven track record of successfully building and managing client relationships, ideally in the financial, leasing, or equipment sectors.

Skills:

  • Excellent Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
  • Sales Expertise : Demonstrated ability to drive sales and develop profitable business relationships.
  • Market Insight : Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Negotiation Skills : Skilled in negotiating contracts, pricing, and service terms to benefit both parties.
  • Project Management : Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration , Marketing , Finance , or a related field is preferred.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of equipment leasing , financial services , or asset management is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking client interactions and business development progress.
