I am seeking a Sales Engineer for a valued client who is in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
Responsible for managing all sales efforts to meet or exceed sales forecast and goals. In addition to traditional sales calls, this role will coordinate between the customer and primary departmental disciplines (engineering, operations, quality, inside sales and accounting). The Sales Engineer / Sales Account Manager must develop a keen situational awareness (information on customer, competition, pricing and programs) to assist in maintaining existing business base while contributing to the efficient pursuit of new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 3-10 years’ work experience, preferably in technical/aerospace sales
- Must have college degree, prefer engineering degree.
- Strong analytical skills, including building business cases for new business opportunities.
- Customer focused.
- Able to work in office daily except when business traveling (30-50% with some international)
