Amtec is being retained to find a Project Manager for a leading commercial construction company in the retail and medical sectors. As a Project Manager, you’ll play a critical role in guiding project teams to deliver results on time and within budget. Your work will span the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction to close-out, ensuring every detail aligns with company standards and client expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Develop high-performing project teams, providing guidance, training, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Project Scheduling: Support Superintendents in creating and maintaining accurate project schedules.
  • Change Order Management: Prepare Owner and Subcontractor Change Orders, negotiating terms and pricing with all stakeholders.
  • Subcontractor Relations: Collaborate with Estimating to scope projects, award subcontractors, and negotiate contract terms.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage budgets, oversee monthly billing, prepare job cost reports, and forecast project costs.
  • Client & Partner Relationships: Strengthen relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to promote collaboration and client satisfaction.
  • Project Support: Complete special projects and other duties as needed to support the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-10 years of construction project management experience, ideally in retail, medical, or grocery environments.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business administration preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledgeable in estimating, scheduling, and engineering principles, with a deep understanding of contracts, drawings, and specifications.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project).
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.


Compensation:

The position offers competitive pay ($110K to $150K) based on experience, along with a robust benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan, PTO, and a performance-based bonus plan.
