Responsibilities -
- Oversee the preparation and processing of the organization’s payroll, including hourly, salaried, and contract employees.
- Bi-Weekly Payroll processing for 500+ employees
- Ensure payroll is completed accurately and on time.
- File required payroll tax reports and handle audits, as needed.
- Stay updated on payroll legislation, tax laws, and labor regulations. (Remittances, liability, etc.)
- Ensure payroll activities comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of payroll records, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
- Safeguard sensitive employee information in compliance with data privacy policies.
- Collaborate with HR to administer employee benefits, deductions, and adjustments.
- Process bonuses, incentives, and other special compensation items.
