Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Houston, TX

Schedule: Hybrid


Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will oversee both new and existing electrical products. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining product reliability, implementing design improvements, and ensuring thorough documentation for manufacturing and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:


Design & Development:

  • Design, modify, and improve electrical systems and components for existing and new products.
  • Develop and validate design changes to enhance performance, reduce costs, and address obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support for production and field issues related to electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design challenges in legacy products.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product quality issues.
  • Create and update technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards and maintain accurate revision control of documentation.
  • Generate and maintain test procedures, reports, and design validation documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design and sustaining engineering.
  • Proficiency in electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of electrical components, circuits, and systems.
  • Experience with documentation management systems and ERP software is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.


Additional Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid setting, with some on-site work required in Northwest Houston.
