Do you have a passion for craft cocktails and a deep appreciation for Japanese culture? We are seeking a skilled and creative Head Bartender to join our team at (Restaurant Name), a modern Japanese dining experience located in Brooklyn, NY.

As our Head Bartender, you’ll lead the bar program, crafting innovative cocktails that showcase Japanese techniques and ingredients while providing an exceptional guest experience. You’ll be a key part of the team, blending artistry with tradition to create an unforgettable bar experience.

Responsibilities:

• Curate and develop a menu of signature cocktails with a focus on Japanese spirits, ingredients, and techniques.

• Lead the daily operations of the bar, including overseeing cocktail prep, inventory, and maintaining bar cleanliness.

• Train and mentor bar staff on Japanese bartending methods, including , garnishing, and serving with precision and flair.

• Maintain a consistent, high-quality drink service for guests.

• Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to ensure a seamless dining experience.

• Provide an excellent guest experience through both exceptional drinks and hospitality.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience bartending, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of Japanese spirits, such as whisky, sake, and shochu, and experience with traditional Japanese cocktail techniques.

• Creativity and a passion for pushing the boundaries of the craft cocktail scene.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining a calm demeanor.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
