Candidate requirements
Job specification - Serve as the primary circulator for surgical procedures, ensuring that all aspects of the surgery are coordinated effectively.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment and uphold surgical protocols and safety measures.
- Assess patient's needs and provide appropriate interventions throughout the surgical process.
- Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition during surgery, communicating effectively with the surgical team to address any concerns.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the surgical unit.
Candidate requirements - Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Must hold a current and valid nursing license.
- BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of commencing this position.
- All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- A minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required.
