Position Summary: Under supervision, process all vendor invoices for payment within the guidelines of standard operating procedures for authorized approvals and disbursement terms. This position provides support to administration as needed.
Essential Functions: - Process non-inventory and inventory invoices, including month-end closing of all invoices.
- Review and understand vendor contracts as it relates to payables, including reconciling against contractual obligations.
- Timely and accurately match vendor invoices to check stubs and packing slips.
- Verify customer and order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary.
- Enter and maintain all necessary data in computer for efficient accounts payable and contract administration.
- Maintain and manage contract files and folders.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documents for contracts, sales orders, and payables.
- Reconcile vendor statements and purchase orders as well as investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with office general administration, including answering the telephone, directing calls, etc.
