Unit Name: ER Number of Beds: 101 Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds Unit staffing description: Techs available, work in cardiac monitoring unit and internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights Type of equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors Documentation system: Cerner Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, cannot commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the department. Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED. Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Patient Experience to each patient.
