Temporary Service Coordinator (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Position: Service Coordinator (Temporary)

Pay Rate: $24/hour

Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Duration: Approximately 8–12 weeks (starting early January)

We are seeking a Temporary Service Coordinator to join our team and ensure seamless operations during a maternity leave. This role involves managing service schedules, dispatching technicians, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in multitasking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and customer interactions.
• Schedule and oversee service routes for multiple field technicians.
• Communicate with customers to schedule appointments and provide service updates.
• Handle customer service inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Maintain accurate records of service requests, work orders, and customer interactions.
• Receive and process POs (Purchase Orders) from shipping.
• Monitor service requests and ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Identify and implement process improvements when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in service coordination or a similar role.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and service management software.
• Customer service experience, both in-person and over the phone.
