Seeking an IT Support Analyst for our client - a prominent global medical device manufacturing organization and a leader in the industry!
Type: Contract
Location: Fairfield County, CT (100% onsite)
Rate: $25-$28/hr
Duties:
- Handles incoming calls and electronic requests from internal customers, efficiently addressing their concerns.
- Records and tracks all support incidents in the IT Service Management system.
- Delivers first-line support to resolve issues at the service desk before escalating to relevant IT or business teams.
- Troubleshoots and resolves software and hardware issues.
- Complies with established policies and procedures.
- Ensures prompt resolution or proper escalation of tickets, providing regular updates to internal customers.
- Responds to customer issues or requests in a professional manner.
- Provides user support in complex, virtualized global environments.
- Participates in after-hours support rotation.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Degree in the field of computer information systems and/or relevant work experience.
- 2 years equivalent work experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience), with hands on hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Extensive equipment support experience with laptops, desktops, mobile devices, etc.
- In-depth technical knowledge of client computing hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, web browsers, and utility tools such as anti-virus, file management, and deployment software.
- Familiarity with current protocols, operating systems, and industry standards.
