Manufacturing Engineer II

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will develop, optimize, and assist in maintaining manufacturing processes, systems, machines, tooling, and equipment across diverse operations. The focus is on improving production efficiency, ensuring product quality, applying project management techniques, and adhering to safety and environmental standards. You will also create essential process documentation and facilitate communication with relevant staff.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Management: Oversee and coordinate projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Capital Expenditures: Manage and oversee capital expenditure projects, aligning them with organizational goals.
• Process Optimization: Monitor and ensure efficient operation of current floor processes, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• Collaboration with Maintenance: Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure equipment functionality and address issues proactively.
• Procedure Revisions: Review and update procedures to enhance operational efficiency and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Strong project management skills, particularly in manufacturing environments.
• Experience in manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Expertise in process design and workflow optimization.
• Knowledge of ergonomics and workplace safety design.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience managing capital projects from initiation to completion.
