About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the planning and execution of its strategic goals and objectives. The COO will be responsible for leading and managing the business operations, including sales, marketing, backroom services, claims, customer service, compliance, IT, and finance. This role involves developing and implementing long-term growth strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with clients, carriers, and partners. The successful candidate will also be a key executive team member, aligning the company's vision, mission, and values with its operations and performance.Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of progressive experience in the insurance industry, including at least 5 years' in a senior leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and expertise in insurance client service operations, products, and regulations, as well as strong strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams. The COO must also possess a high level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability, and be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment.
