About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a community bank client in the Los Angeles, CA area. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and innovative individual with a proven track record in overseeing all accounting functions and providing successful growth strategies for banks. The CFO will be a senior leader responsible for directing all financial activities, including reporting, planning, supervision, and investments. This role involves guiding the organization's financial area toward growth and expansion, assisting the Executive Team in forecasting and budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The CFO will also be involved in preparing financial statements, supervising financial staff, and maintaining current knowledge of accounting standards and policies.Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting (Master's degree preferred), and a CPA designation is also preferred. A minimum of four years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Proficiency in PC software such as Excel, Word, and Access is a must, along with excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The CFO will be expected to analyze financial operations, identify development opportunities, and make recommendations for the procurement and investment of funds. Leadership in staff training and development in financial management areas is also a key responsibility for this role.
