About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in scaling SaaS finance and operations within a venture-backed startup environment. The CFO will be responsible for leading a range of functional areas, including cash management, accounting, finance, revenue operations, and compliance and risk management. This role demands a hands-on, technical, proactive, and accountable leader who is fast-paced, data-driven, and operationally minded. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of hitting KPIs, be a thought partner to the leadership team, and work closely with the CEO on the strategic direction of the company. Key responsibilities for the CFO at the company include hitting board-approved KPIs, running the five functional areas, and being a thought partner to the leadership team. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong understanding of GAAP accounting and SaaS subscription business models and to demonstrate the ability to manage influence, design, implement, and manage KPIs, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. The role requires an individual with excellent communication and presentation skills, who is enthusiastic, creative, and can inspire both the team and customers. The CFO will also be responsible for ensuring the company's financial health, and growth, and for maintaining a strong focus on customer empathy and passion for revenue.
