About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its hospice team. The successful candidate will be a seasoned RN or Administrator with a strong background in hospice or home health management, demonstrating a commitment to the hospice philosophy of care. The Executive Director will be responsible for ensuring that all patient and family services comply with regulatory requirements and professional standards, overseeing the entire process from licensure to day-to-day operations, and providing strategic direction to meet organizational goals. This role requires a leader with a self-starter attitude, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence.Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include coordinating all aspects of patient care, serving as the hospice services leader, and advocating for policies that support hospice and palliative care. The role also involves implementing clinical operations policies, maintaining quality assessment activities, and participating in budgeting for patient care expenses. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of management experience in a similar setting, a strong knowledge of hospice regulations and healthcare management principles, and the ability to supervise and direct a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in budget development, monitoring, and financial analysis is essential, as is an understanding of the services provided to patients and their families through an interdisciplinary approach. The Executive Director will also be involved in staff recruitment, training, and evaluation, and will serve as a liaison with various stakeholders.
